Safrican began as a burial society in 1932 in Sophiatown. The company has transformed itself from a burial society to an insurance company. Safrican has over R240 million annual premiums, almost two million insured members and 600 brokers. Safrican also has a distribution agreement with the South African Post Bank, giving access to almost 3000 branches. Under the leadership of CEO Nthabiseng Mmatli, Safrican is looking forward to grow from strength to strength - always focusing on benefitting the company's valued clients and offering best service.
